I just learned to keep my download tab open in the background. As soon as Rob mentions a song to play, I just type it in and voila… instant download! Just FYI. It is an extremely quick process.
OAN, Rob I find it really really cool when I have most of the songs that you are mentioning all ready as a result of following your other available videos as I went down the DJ “rabbit hole” last year. I am loving this journey! I caught that Run DMC from the song “Scratchin”. I grew up on this, so it jumped right out at me. I’m amazed–even though I know that Hip Hop is basically “borrowed” music–at how a song can be chopped, screwed, sampled, etc. and STILL be made into such classics such this one was. I love this art!
I’m grateful for these lessons. My left hand is still a little slow, but I used to think it would never improve. I’ve been practicing daily for a week now, and I’m shocked at how much my left hand has progressed.
I loved moving thru these breaks and using the same 3 scratches
really created that muscle memory to call on them … to know them
Also such a great breaks lesson
