I get to about the first set of quarter notes and get tripped up, def enjoying the lessons and the history behind all the patterns and root moves, gonna def keep practicing
I do it at easily as I do because I mastered root move #1, Backspins with 8th and 16th note fills. When it comes to beat juggling you must crawl before you walk, walk before you run. I can tell just by the way you ask the question that you haven’t achieved a full grasp of Root Move #1. Make sure you’re not skipping tutorials. Watch them all in the order I’ve outlined them.
In the instant I understood what you were doing I started making my own variations without watching the whole video. It is amazing the way that you teach things, my respect. Greetings from San Diego.
Been trying to get this move for a while. This video made the lightbulb click for me. Rob, thanks man I’m chasing and executing combinations of other root moves like snare pattern and the linear fills to move into the chase pattern. Thes lessons are with every penny.
